IBM on Thursday said it had immediately suspended all advertising on Elon Musk-owned X after a report found its ads were placed next to content promoting Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party.

Which is weird given IBM’s WWII history.

They don’t want to remind anyone of that

Is it though? No one currently working at IBM was there in WWII. It’s pretty meaningless to point fingers at a corporations history when it’s so dated

That’s like judging current Germany based on WWII. Different times, different people

Maybe this guy is old enough to remember it? Not likely. I drive an ID.4 and the other day some dude drove by me with the Nazi salute. Some people don’t understand context.

My grandfather told me he saw German tanks with a Ford logo on the western front.

He drove a Cadillac.

Of course it is not. People are just meming, including up voters.

Meming’s fun but I wish it wouldn’t be everywhere all the time.
