Because thanks to decades of anti-firearm legislation and rhetoric from the Democrats, and the very real social taboo around them in (neo)liberal spaces as a consequence, the Right knows that most gun owners are Right-wingers. They don’t want to disarm everyone, just non-white people and non-conservatives.
It being legal for minorities to carry guns won’t stop cops from shooting them (if anything, it just gives police another “excuse” to shoot them), so really the “constitutional carry” laws in Red states only apply to white people.
