Today we’re launching the first new module for the Expansion Bay system in Framework Laptop 16: the Dual M.2 Adapter, enabling you to add additional storage drives or other high speed devices.

It would be nice if they would make a module that has 120 Gbps USB4 or Oculink for connecting high end external GPUs.

Last I heard, there was a community effort designing an 8xPCIe4 (yes, that’s a thing) Occulink adaptor, love to hear if anyone’s got any info on it.

That said, M2 <-> Occulink adaptors abound, so, with some pretty trivial hacking this could support 2xeGPUs!
