They are out there.

Tbf I can’t really think of an indigenous Canadian automobile brand. Possibly Detroit being situated on the Great Lakes made the American car industry difficult to compete with historically.

also the detroit big three also build trucks in canada

Apparently we make armoured vehicles, Performance vehicles, and all our other domestic manufacturers have been either bought by American companies and brought under their brands, or make stuff like high end buses, RVs or EV conversion kits.
