It’s actually working, but there is no recent activity on that community around the time you add that community, which is why it appear empty. To manually populate your instance with the older posts, try copy pasting the old individual posts you’d like to “pull” in the search page.
You are not logged in. However you can subscribe from another Fediverse account, for example Lemmy or Mastodon. To do this, paste the following into the search field of your instance: !technology@beehaw.org

You actually can already.
If no one has done it already, you’ll take the full URL to the “magazine” on kbin and pop it in the search bar.
After a few moments it should pop up and you should be able to navigate to the channel and subscribe.

It’s working for me right now, the only trick is to use the URL in the search bar instead of the
!<community>@<instance>format.eg: https://kbin.social/m/AskKbin
This is not working for me, I’m trying to subscribe to https://kbin.social/m/aspiememes but nothing is showing up.So you have to make sure the search is set to “All” and not “Community”
