Melina, disembodied and cast away from her place of birth, sought a Tarnished who would return her to the foot of the Erdtree, Leyndell. She was well-readied to sacrifice herself. Should she be deprived of that final chance to be put to rest, however, she would take upon herself Destined Death to ensure that her Tarnished would one day meet their fate.
