X user quits paying for Twitter Blue to protest X commandeering his account.

And that’s why corporate social media is so sticky: your average user doesn’t care WHAT is done to them and the most they’ll maybe do is grumble slightly and spend a little less money, but won’t actually bother to do anything or make any changes, or go somewhere else.

I’d say that doesn’t just apply to social media users, but rather to people in general.

X offered Vaught a few alternative usernames to consider—@musicfan, @musicmusic, @music123, or @musiclover—none of which appealed to Vaught.

You don’t say lol.

Lol it was even a musk fan that paid the money for “verification”

The best part is that they had to steal another account to give him because there was no way that musicfan was still available in 2023

Did twitter consider to affiliate with @musicfan, @musicmusic, @music123, or @musiclover instead?

So this guy had his handle stolen and he is still like “man Musk is so cool I am going to stick around on X” dude. What does he have to do to make you leave?

Musk fanboys are like MAGAs, nothing will change their opinion
