May want to check archive.org. That’s where the GTA 6 footage stayed up for a while
I downloaded it before I realized I didn’t have any interest in leaks. Was still in trash bin though.
Edit: Axed the link per comments below.
I am not sure, but it might be unsafe to post direct links like this for the admin running this instance: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/18438

to decode it.They said no to that, too. https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/comment/399476
I’m always on the lookout for more games like Freelancer, but it seems like a bad sign if they don’t want people seeing gameplay footage only two weeks from the game’s release date…
Most developers won’t let reviews go live until after the game comes out. Bethesda at least opens reviews up like a week before the game comes out for everyone. So, I think they’re pretty confident. No studio just allows anyone to post information at anytime.
Freelancer was such a good game.
I reinstall and okay through it again every several years. Lately No Man’s Sky has been scratching some of that itch for me, though.
While it can be used to hide a bad game, it’s more of a general marketing thing in the era of trashy algorithm driven content consumption.
If everyone high profile uploads their review of your game on the same day, it hyper-accelerates the domination of those algorithms and everyone broadly interested in the space you’re in is going to be exposed to it, probably significantly.
Dude… This game is nothing like Freelancer, it’s FO4 with a space suit, you don’t even get to control ships.
While most space games admittedly only overlap somewhat in the context of space dogfight battles, from what I’ve read the player is able to fly the ship between planets, space stations, asteroid fields, etc? Bit too FPS-focused and not enough economic-focused for my liking in contrast to Freelancer, but the games seem to at least share that in common.
The super long game play preview had real time space dogfights. Did I miss something? Is it being scrapped?
Don’t think so. The 40min leaked gameplay also had dogfighting in it
