Spain has some relatively strict gun control. That doesn’t mean someone controlling the smuggling of millions of € in drugs, can’t pay a few grand for some of his “acquaintances” to fly all the way over, get his property back “by whatever means”, and fly back the next day.
Presumably the drones do either have pre-programmed flight paths in them, or are flown by radio that can be triangulated - and giving up that location information probably is equivalent to ‘snitching’.

Store the flight information in RAM and it’s gone once it powers down. I’m sure cartels can afford to pay some programmers to do that.
I mean, most drones do snitch, where can I buy a drone that doesn’t broadcast its position or have gps fences?
