As someone with much less enterprise experience, but small business it administration experience, how does Incus replace ESXi for virtual machines coming from the understanding that “containerization is the new hotness but doesn’t work for me” angle?

I bought a 2021 VW GLI, it has a software component called Car-net that has literally never worked. I don’t even know what it’s supposed to do. The little I’ve found is that it’s supposed to have an app remote start and maybe a few other features, but according tk carnet, my car is still dealer owned. There have been at least six contacts to the car net folks from the dealer about the issue. I have a remote start on my FOB so whatever, but the car software support issue is so real. 🤷🏼‍♂️

There is a social aspect to it. For corporate workers, people are almost ostracized and excluded for not ‘being up with the latest big thing’. The only feature worth upgrading my PaperWhite for would be better resolution and the warm color frontlighting. If they release a robust color kindle, I’ll probably bite but I imagine Amazon isn’t doing that because it would be the last kindle anyone buys.

Sincerely, why? I ran 1440 165hz with my 3070 with mediocre success and even with my 4090 and games like jedi fallen order and valhalla hitch and stutter occasionally. Paired with a 7900x I was expecting better and feel like a lot of people get hung up on the numbers.
