I guess, that depends on the legislative of your country, maybe they see all interactions with usenet providers as illegal, and if you are not using a VPN they see what IP you talk to. But in the other hand, in such countries, using (foreign) VPNs may also be illegal🤔

Can one not seed while stream? Like keeping cache after you have seen that part and seed that part?

(I have little knowledge on new torrent stuff since I found a net that can be used)

Is this similar to vLAN that could be configured in my router but I never bothered since it was overkill for me?

If the thing they are trying to do requires lots of data transfer, somehow, then TOR would not be ideal. Big Data makes TOR a bad experience. For that use case, a VPN alone is mostly enough (except the risks that can mitigated by reading other comments here)

Echo der Zeit, Datenschutz plaudereien, NZZ akzent (one little ad in the middle), Netzpodcast, SRF Input, News plus, Focus,

Some may be swiss german, tho.

And additionally, you can sign intermediate Certificates reducing the risk even more, since you can revoke and re-issue new ones any time.

Just use only VPN to access your services behind the reverse proxy, if you want prevent unauthorised connections.

CA certificates are not here to prevent someone accessing a site, they are here, so that you can be sure, that the server you are talking to is really the one belonging to the domain you entered and to establish a tunnel in order to send the API calls (html, css, javascript etc.) and answers encrypted.

You do not have to install a root CA if you use let’s encrypt, their root certificate is trusted by any system and your requested wildcard Certificate is trusted via chain of trust

Ah, it is in consent with the cinema and thus audio is directly switched from the audio out channel and the cam used is way bigger and not Handhold, apparently.

😳a CAM Release?!

Ah no, it is TS, (what does this low quali thing mean? I only know webDL and above)

Well, I search with prowlarr 😁 that is why we have tracker/indexer, no google required.

You can use preDB to check if a release exists and inly your indexers don’t have it. Then, you gotta find more indexers.

And the map if beer drinkers, of smokers, of males, of people with pets etc. All would look like this. This is just a map, which shows where most people live.

And you want to use VPN for anything online in Russia. Especially now with the youtube “block”

Does it, are you sure? Or is it only reducing the amount of investor money they burn a little?

To stay a step ahead of other crews, I would say. It is a competition

I would not say “all the time” at least the movies I watch, but it is mostly only some months (if even) until a movie is available on some streaming service and gets ripped in 4k

It is only an issue if something adds copyright protected material, but not if it changes something copyright protected by removing stuff or even by adding stuff that is not copyright protected.

LoL that seems same legal topic as moding games, which we know game publishers can not do anything against, if the mod is delivered without the binary and it does not circumvent DRM stuff

Why not let *arrr find good HEVC releases by searching again? Just set remux to be considered as lower quality as the other releases, and *arr will upgrade the files by replacing remux with non-remux files. Did that, got many TiB back 😁

42TiB (I managed to get about 5TiB back by defining remux to be lower quality as “normal” releases in the arr* apps 😎) Now I can finally add more media

First I would say best Android right now, is a pixel with custom ROM installed.

Sidload: there exists modified apps for iPhone. To install them you have 3 options (if not in EU) you can sideload using your personal free apple dev account, there you are limited to 3 different apps and you have to reinstall them every 7 days to keep them working, if you pay apple 100$ a year, you can upgrade to a “real” apple dev account without the limitations. Easiest way to self sign apps using above methods would be AltStore application. The third way is Sideloading using a service, that uses enterprise certificates to distribute such apps, those services are either expensive (e.g. BuildStore) or they inject ads into the apps you sideload (sorry, you have to “google” yourself).

I had no issues with NSFW on Reddit, Lemmy and discord yet, 🤔 for discord I don’t know if it changed since I used it. NSFW on telegram is blocked in the iOS app, but the webApp of telegram can be added to the homescreen and then it feels like an App

I use the sea via the self hosted arrr apps and have added the webUI of each to my homescreen, alternatively you can control your arrr apps using LunaSea app. For streaming, I use plex and jellyfin which both work great on iOS

For youtube, there were some modded apps, but I just went with premium via India, because that was more convenient.

I block ads on my phone by routing my internet through my server running adGuard and on device I use 1blocker as backup (since i payed for lifetime long time ago)
