Maybe the scenes being filmed weren’t intended to be viewed sexually? There are lots of ways you can make nudity non-sexual.

I think the whole point is that the actresses didn’t agree to be jerked off to going in.

I recently commented about how much I hate Adobe for their horrible subscription tactics, and the fact that the Canadian government REQUIRES you to use Adobe reader to sign PDFs in order to immigrate to canada.

The last time I complained to them, they offered me a free extended trial in order to make things right. I tried to cancel the free trial on July 10th, and was informed that it would cost $100 to cancel my contract.

I don’t have enough money to hire lawyers, but I am 100% sure what they did was illegal. I have a severe mental health disorder, which resulted in me trying to kill myself after being literally fucking raped by a company. July 10th is also my birthday, which was fucking great. I fucking LOVE me a good corporation, they bring so much joy to the world.

Sorry for the TMI, I fucking hate this company.

Really just video for me, I can’t handle paying for streaming anymore.

I was working with a doc on an IT problem a few months ago… It was a mildy terrifying experience, I would never want someone so ignorant as my doctor.

There are already torrents containing collections of all the games from old systems. What there needs to be is an “official” collection torrent for each system that archivists can store and seed individually

I pay also, and use revanced. I watch YouTube more than any other service, and want to support some of the creators I like.

I would feel a lot less self hatred for paying google if they released a YouTube ‘Lite’ app that dropped everything related to shorts. Paying users should be able to use the app however they want, without having extra features rammed down their throats.

I was referring to myself being too lazy to read it if that was unclear

You know you’re truly lazy when the tl;dr itself is too long

I got into metroid in 2014 or 2015 during the 3DS era. Someone mentioned that Super Metroid was their favourite game growing up, so I decided to give it a shot. I had only played the NDS metroid games before, so I didn’t really know what to expect.

I ended up being completely blown away, and I think I replayed the game within a year, which is incredibly rare for me - one of the only other games I can think of doing this for was the first Ori game (I have a thing for tight platformers, what can I say).

I’d say super metroid is one of my all time favourite games now, probably number 2 on the SNES to Link to the Past. In terms of influence, I’d put it up there with dark souls.

Last year I also played Prime for the first time when the remaster came out, and loved that too. Really hoping they release 2 and 3!

But damn, the Japanese really don’t like doing business with foreigners.

Truer words have never been spoken

I mean the moral thing is just to not buy the product if you have an issue with it.

I have no problem with piracy, but pretending you’re some sort of hero for doing it is ridiculous

I feel like piracy and moral superiority don’t really belong together

Reminds of the one nutjob in my city who stands on a bridge all day with huge sign saying “Tamara Lich is innocent” while he swings his Canadian flag and salutes traffic. He makes me so fucking mad 🙂

I bought a sub to this about a year ago, and will probably resub. When finding new music I save it to a playlist, then use tune my music to export it to a csv. Then the csv gets formatted and added to my nicotine config.

OpenSubtitles is hot garbage, a viable alternative needs to exist. Pray for Subscene

I’ve used usenet for maybe 6 months lightly, so admittedly I’m not the mostly experienced. That being said, I know how to sort search results by popularity and size, and I’ve still had at least 5 video links download executables in that time, from various indexers. Maybe those .exes were completely innocent and not malware… But for some reason I have my doubts.

Personally I’d argue RD is actually cheap for video, and unless you NEED max download speeds, torrents are just as good as Usenet for anything else.

(Note torrents will probably need a VPN too, but that’s still substantially cheaper than Usenet if you buy years at a time. And personally I use a VPN for usenet too, although I’m sure I’ll be downvoted and called paranoid.)

Faster download speeds, high cost of entry, and a lot more malware

I get good value out of it…

…That being said, I curate my own feed heavily, and still have to use a ton of add-ons to keep from going insane - fuck your shorts YouTube.

It is admittedly terrible.

Those are some serious hard drive and firewall costs - how much storage do you have?

I have yet to see a usenet post that was both written by a person and not incredibly batshit insane

You don’t like buying 5% more points than you need for any purchase?

Because for years chrome was a solid choice, and most people don’t actively research browsers

Never heard of this being a term - what does it mean?

My car insurance dropped by like 200% when I moved from AB to BC.

Motorcycle insurance was basically the opposite, however.

Just as a warning - if you are in actual distress and call a suicide hotline, the cops may decide you’re better off in a psych ward… Would not recommend.

Can anyone recommend a VPN that has working port forwarding?
I already had a cyberghost sub, but decided to try to switch to something better for seeding. I have tested ProtonVPN and PIA, but ended up refunding PIA as the port forwarding didn't work once. ProtonVPN has worked maybe 5% of the time, and will likely be refunded as well. Is there such a thing as a VPN that can consistently forward ports? I'm considering trying AirVPN next, but am hoping someone could confirm whether it works or not first. I'm also open to any other recommendations. Thank you!
