Maybe not if you have kids and dependents. But that’s twice what I make and I’m extremely comfortable and want for nothing.

I spent 2 grand on the PC that gives me minor driver issues that only I experience. The hundreds of dollars I spent on the Xbox that works just like everyone else’s Xbox seems like a bargain to me.

I do PC game, so let me give you a counterpoint:

I have GeForce Experience which manages my drivers, but after a windows update awhile back suddenly the updates fail at like 80%, no idea why.

Now I’m just barely smart enough that I could probably fix it if I sat down for an hour or two and did some googling.

But why would I do that? I can just hit the power button on my Xbox and not have to troubleshoot an obscure problem.

Totally, mouse and keyboard are very clutch for those genres

  • Batman: Arkham Knight

  • Assassin’s Creed Unity

  • Battlefield 4

  • Homefront: The Revolution:

  • Forza Horizon 3

  • Total War: Rome 2

All high profile games, all had my social media feeds full of PC gamers complaining about how they ran like shit on their 4,000 dollar PCs.

You say you don’t know what I’m talking about, but then list every single hoop I’m trying to avoid with the tagline of ‘just jump through them!’.

As opposed to PC which has infinite variations

It works, and then you don’t enjoy the game so it was all for nothing, or they release a patch that changes something so you have to do it all over again. And then you have that to look forward to with every new game you want to try out.

I follow a lot of PC gamers on social media and they’re always crowd-sourcing technical questions about why this or that isn’t working like they expect.

Now the games are attached to your windows and Sony accounts so they’ll follow you around as much as steam games do

Yeah, if you enjoy the process of fiddling around with your system and installing cool new drivers and programs to get your game running then PC gaming is better no doubt.

I just want to turn the game on and play though

I like to play my games knowing the developers optimized it for exactly the hardware I’m playing on.

Yeah during the mage exam she demonstrated her childishness by… Taking control of the group, and teaching and protecting the two actual children that were on her team.

Or when she ran into the child Himmel in the forest, the writer showed what a child she was by… Maturely helping him find his way home and keeping him in good spirit with a magic trick.

But she does like to sleep in! That’s undeniable! And no adult in history has ever liked sleeping in.

My prediction is that now that tech has run out of its endless growth runway the- industry will begin to consolidate and they will have massive ecosystems that you can join for like 200 bucks a month

They voted Trudeau in past elections, but now they’re ready for a change and theybdont think they’ll get that voting NDP.

I am actually pretty (relatively) happy with Trudeau but he needs to pull a Biden or it will be PP in office

Won’t matter since people are just voting con because they’re tired of Trudeau

Mortgages are just tools used by the government to keep workers productive. They are scared shitless that people will have enough food to eat and a comfortable place to live and thus not have to work day in and day out.

I remember when the place I worked at changed names and some Russian guy was sitting on the domain name, wouldn’t let it go for less than a million.

The CEO signed off on it after a day of consideration. Really changed my perspective on how much money these companies were sitting on.

The problem with the carbon tax is the same problem with the US’s Obamacare. It’s the conservative solution that liberals picked because they thought it would be the easiest way to get the right on board with a plan of action.

In reality, the easiest way to get the right on board with a plan of action is if you either bribe them or threaten them with an overwhelming show of force. They can’t be worked with, only steamrolled.

I’m sure they only escaped the majority of interference because they were seen as not worth the effort

I bet you both the Tories and the Liberals are up to their necks in this shit.

It would be nice if this caused both parties to lose terribly and left us with an NDP-Green-Bloc dominated parliament for a few years

This seems like a very useful feature, and a great benefit to blind web users

Dismiss the ‘sjws’ sure, but it’s literally impossible for democrats to win the presidency unless black voters are enthusiastic about the candidate. Biden’s Gaza stance hurts him with black voters.

Developers made condos as tiny as humanly possible, to the the point where a bedroom could just barely fit a queen sized bed into it with nothing else.

Ubisoft’s bread and butter were never assassin’s creed type hardcore games, but those trashy looking pet sims you could find in the bargain bin. The only reason they’re able to make the hardcore gamerz stuff is because of the financial security the shitty pet games brought in

I know exactly one guy who worked for CSIS, he never talks about it but he will share that he left with a very low opinion on the organization.

My offline friend talked to me the other day about the boycott this month. So that’s a good sign, at least regarding public perception.

I think people are going to get very good at identifying fakes. Only is older people will be tricked.

They make electric mass produced work trucks now. Perfect for city deliveries and trades people doing city work.

I am reading it, and I struggle with verbal communication because I have to shift through the social chit chat to find what they actually want me to do for them, and I also have to take notes during the interaction. All things solved by writing it down in an email instead.

It’s ridiculous and clearly used as a way of exploiting people.

If the work is temporary, the visa shouldn’t be. These workers should all be welcome to relocate here whenever they want.

The US encourages international business competition, but not if you do it better than they do.

Google releasing cheap ebooks that parents could buy instead of laptops or a desktop was one of the most devastating things to happened to us as a society. Impoverished a generation.

Because we don’t think we’ll be allowed to retire.

What these guys would consider my retirement savings are actually my shit-hits-the-fan savings that’s supposed to get me through the next financial collapse.

I’ve noticed older works really struggle with anything that involves writing. They’re great as long as everything is a phone call or a meeting, but the moment they need to sit down and write something it’s like they suffer brain damage and the keyboard burns them to touch it.
