I reccommend debian headless and docker compose. Set up ssh but i would only open ssh to the internet if your using certificate authenticarion. Chatgpt will be able to help you with most of this except installing docker just copy paste install commands from the docker docs

Try set up ssh then u can ether use a terminal or vscode with the ssh emote something extension

Never seen this before but its a masterpiece. I think it missed the engineer who solves an engineering problem an engineering way making all sorts of assumptions and ignoreing all sorts of things that make the mathematicions, physisists, and computer scientists scream in terror. I might have to try syncthing then im sure i can use git for versioning my notes from just one node and retain that feature. I use logseq so on desktop git syncing is automatic.

How does syncthing compair to git. Im using git currently but sycing to mobile has a tendancy to break
