When Mayer arrived at Yahoo she was tasked with reviving a company that had already begun to lose its footing in the digital landscape.
Fresh from her successful stint at Google where she had been one of the first employees, and risen to become a key executive, Mayer seemed like the perfect candidate to breathe new life into Yahoo. However, she learnt some lessons every tech company must know.
