“Australian billionaire Gina Rinehart has also launched two separate lawsuits against the government, one for rejecting her Grassy Mountain project in 2021 and another for damages due to the coal ban. She is seeking more than $2 billion in compensation,” Andrew Nikiforuk writes in the Tyee.

Rich assholes finding creative ways to become even richer without actually doing anything

A lawsuit for saying no? Sounds like a child throwing an adult tantrum.

She inherited an iron ore mining lease. She is a child. She never had to grow up ever as is the case with just about every single loud mouth wealthy capitalist/fascist asshole. I’m not normally this guy but tell her to fuck off and go home. Throw the case out as frivolous.

It’s like Musk suing advertisers for not liking him. It’s an obviously dumb lawsuit but it gives the government an opportunity to settle or force a ruling to hand some wealth to their buddies.

Is she related to Trump in some way? Sounds very trumpish in tantrum levels.
