I always wanted to try this game when I was a kid. When checking out reviews on Steam I noticed someone mention that Sega was giving it away for free for their 60th anniversary (a few years ago), and that website is still up and running. Long story short, I tried it and it works. Replacing the localhost part of the URL was necessary as the screenshot mentions.

Thanks, I hadn’t heard about this until now and was able to grab a copy.

I don’t understand why you guys keep posting images instead the link? https://www.sega60th.com/

Forgot to because I was focusing on getting the screenshot for URL thing. Thanks

Trying to register through this and it’s directing me to localhost:3000 after logging in through steam, which then just says it refused to connect.

Edit: I figured it out. If anyone else has this issue, change “localhost:3000” to sega60th.com

Nice, thanks. I remember when this game came out, and I only ever got to play it once at a friends house. Will be interested to see it!

To me it has a similar feel to some of the later Sonic games, but without the fear of falling off the level. I recommend checking out a how to play guide because it just jumps in without explaining.

While I am at it :D (Edit: broken links corrected)

I likely grabbed this game from when it was given away, but its still cool that it is available. Also got a few Steam profile items but never used em.
