In BC, look for BuyBC. The province has been pretty on top of a labelling/awareness campaign long before Trump found the word tariffs in his colouring book.

I think veggies and fruits in Ontario have their mark. Though at this time of year there’s less in-season domestically outside of greenhouse-grown food.

I was told that my local grocery store (in BC) will also be labelling all Canadian products as well.

Tim Hortons isn’t Canadian but New York Fries is. What a country!

Bit surprising given TH is your national institution.

It used to be until Restaurant Brands International bought it out and stopped making donuts in-store, changed their coffee brands, and started importing foreign workers (paying them less than minimum wage).

It’s not Canadian anymore.

That’s what their advertising wants us to believe.

Very true. When I was living there, and this is 13 years ago, it was a huge thing. Shame.

but what’s wrong buying Brazilian stuff?

Local first, Canadian next, anyone else last, American never.

I’m not sure, I feel like Canada should be strengthening trade relationships with other countries.
