Google is 25 years old, and even with the rise of generative AI bots, it still dominates search. But in 1998, it was just another Silicon Valley garage project with big ideas and little credibility.

I remember in the 90s in college we had a guest speaker who was researching Internet searching… should have paid more attention lol

Parent’s 3 car garage? Wait, that was Bill Gates who was funded by wealthy family members yo get started.

Just like pointing out college dropouts who are successful, ignoring the fact that they dropped out because the business that they had started with funds from connections was doing so well and they didn’t have enough time to finish college. Plus, they didn’t need a college degree at that point…
