The dead internet theory (wikipedia)

The dead Internet theory is an online conspiracy theory that asserts that the Internet now consists almost entirely of bot activity and automatically generated content that is manipulated by algorithmic curation, marginalizing organic human activity.

I was tinkering with a script idea like this, where some Random Internet Human kept having increasing difficulty trying to contact a human at a company (spoiler: no humans) , then tried to complain to online support (spoiler: no humans) , then tried to go to social media to complain about it all (spoiler: no humans).
By the time I have time to write these damn stories they won’t be prescient anymore: they’ll be passé.
