Nope, I’m just dumb after looking again. 🤣

Is this clock wrong half the time or am I just dumb?

Every time something like this gets posted a bunch of snobby elitist types come out to point and laugh and talk about how obvious it is that the thing wasn’t safe. Well what is? What’s the special secret you’re keeping from everyone else? If you don’t have one to share, STFU with the smarmy attitudes.

Yeah well until there’s another ecosystem that comes even close to being as good, I’m going to continue pirating Adobe. None of the alternatives I’ve tried have been deserving of the overwhelming praise I see, they’re all lacking tons of features that PS has had for years.

I’ve been pirating Photoshop since I was 14 in 2005, and I’ve only been proven time and again that they don’t deserve my money. Easily one of the greediest, greasiest companies out there.

So Pop is just like a customized Ubuntu with things preconfigured for gaming?

Couldn’t have put it better myself. Like, installing it it asked if I wanted extra helpful software and drivers, but I still had to spend a ton of time setting up basic programs. Default video player sucked, default file browser sucked. Having both the dock and the system toolbar is unnecessary, annoying, and confusing for new users. Most of the default apps feel like an Apple OS to me also, like you have NO configuration options, it’s just you get what you get. The Ubuntu software store is a fraction of a fraction of what it should be. Snaps SUCK.

Certainly possible, I really wasn’t sure what drivers to use, tried the default and the first option from Nvidia and had about the same results.

Pitch it to me, I don’t know shit about fuck. I only use Ubuntu because I have for years.

I was trying both, everything was just really bad frame rates and stuttering, and a few things wouldn’t run after installing specifically Linux marked games on Steam. Back on Win10 everything is running like butter.

I don’t know what this means but I couldn’t get any shit to run on Ubuntu as recent as two days ago.

Totally guessing, but it could be a real weird reflection on the chrome combined with jpeg degradation.

Here’s why anyone who thought that was happening is a dumbass: because obviously.

I’m not sure if it’s a honeypot, but I am sure it’s never worked well for me and just caused more headaches.

In concept. Every single time I’ve tried to use it I’ve had issues. The movies stop constantly, files become unreachable for some indiscernible reason preventing me from continuing from the same source, the app bugs out like crazy, some things aren’t all that easy to find, the quality isn’t always great or there’s weird stuff like embedded subtitles or watermarks.

Is that with a paid plan? My brief experience using it was very much not like that. I’d search for a song and it would tell me something along the lines of “you can’t choose a song to play but you can listen to a channel based on it” and a lot of stuff didn’t seem to be on there at all. This was probably 5(maybe more) years ago now, so I have no idea how it’s changed since then.

I just spent like an hour trying several methods to install this on Android, sadly I was not successful. If anyone can inform me on how to install this on Firefox for Android (not a fork), please let me know.

Literally every single time I want to watch any specific movie it’s not on any streaming service without buying or renting, and I don’t mean new or recent movies. So yeah, I’m pirating again.

I’m the detractor here, I couldn’t give less of a shit about anything to do with intellectual property and think all copyright is bad.

Like the majority I am using Ublock and Firefox, but I’ve noticed over the last month it is very slow to catch up to YouTube ads and I’m seeing them make it through a lot more often.

There’s a reason their printers are always the cheapest in the store, don’t fall for it, go for ANYTHING else.

I have zero respect for any IP laws, the one thing I agree with China on. They only serve to inhibit innovation and make the rich richer.

People are idiots. I’ve used Firefox for nearly 20 years and have zero plans to change.

It’s already one of the worst streaming services, there’s nothing I care to watch on there and anything I do want that they have available costs money on top of the membership, plus the UI sucks.

That makes sense. My grandfather tried to teach me Badass when I was younger but he only knew the Son of a Bitch dialect.

I have a different job, but it hardly affords me food and shelter. If I didn’t live with two other people I’d be homeless and I never have enough to eat properly.

China has the right ideas on copyright. I don’t give two shits if someone steals my music from YouTube, I make it for the joy of making it.

I mean, it gives people a job when there aren’t a lot of options. I still, selling uniquely among my age group, prefer a checkout line. Then again I worked at a grocery and saw how they replaced 10 jobs with one person barely managing 20 self checkouts, so I’m biased.

Why does Gboard replace spaces with characters I add between words?
For example, if I type out a sentence and decide I want to add asterisks around a word for emphasis, why does Gboard replace the space between the previous word and the emphasized word instead of just adding the new character? Is this added functionality for something I just don't understand? Edit: I believe I have fixed the issue by disabling the "Smart Compose" option.
