I have tried the Google earbuds, they work, even in the terrible condition that they’re in after 5+ years of rough use

Thank you! Really appreciate the advice too, didn’t know that was a thing

Does anyone here know any sources to find good iOS apps? Idk where else to ask, and this seemed the most relevant.

This is why I think FUP should be a thing on unlimited offers. I have missed out on being able to utilise great services because people abuse it. I was so happy when Pixels came with unlimited photo/video backup but because people were uploading DSLR pics and pirated movies and shows, it stopped existing.

First time I have seen accurate use of decimate and literally together (not a language prescrivist, just find this funny.)

People might confuse it for that Vin Diesel movie I guess, nothing else used 3 xs together like that though.

Pretty sure you can see the parts people see more on average (otherwise I assume the viewer interest graph on the track bar wouldn’t be a thing)

I read that and I assumed they meant blocked from continuing that specific conversation not that they couldn’t start a new chat and bring that topic up again

I’m curious about what they mean by that? Coz I haven’t heard of anyone being blocked at all, but not only that I have not seen anyone have any issues for asking such questions. What they might have meant is the chat ended? If they actually got blocked that’s entirely new to me and I would like to see some proof.

!I expect that to happen, but I don’t think we have artificial intelligence yet, I hold onto that. As someone else commented we’re on the calculator portion of the language tree but using language has always been what separated us from other beings so some people thought of it as the proof of intelligence but it never was. It’s much easier to design something specialized than something actually intelligent (much easier here still means very fucking hard) but some people have gone onto calling this narrow intelligence and if it can do!<

As I was writing the above crossed out comment I did come to see your pov more closely and I guess in a way you’re right, if we consider it narrow intelligence in terms of understanding and using language, because it is really good at language tasks but we expect artificial intelligence to be perfect for some reason and idk if that’s right or not and that also might be what bothers you about the shifting goalposts.

By new how new are we talking? Because I haven’t tested them in a couple months but it has failed logic questions I gave it before

Easy solution, get a laptop with 32 GB RAM/s

Seriously though, the problem is either on both or on neither. It’s an additional expense on the customer though, like everything else nowadays. I personally ended up getting a super powered laptop/tablet and relying on it for all my computing needs because laptops are good enough for most use cases nowadays and desktops are limited to specific use cases.

Thinking about it though, the reason it’s only limited tasks needing more power might be because everything else is electron.

Your point is well made, except this was going to be an exception, it was not going to be a rule for all vaccines going forward, so I have a hard time accepting the story you have weaved as an explanation. There’s still possible for there to be an explanation, just as much as it’s possible for it to be weaponized incompetence/ignorance.

Performance wise they may get there, but that’s not what makes the steam deck stand out.

It should be DLSS if they stay with Nvidia, which they seem to be based on the rumors.

I mean, I think he’s evil.

You don’t mean to say that the guy who tried to keep vaccines for COVID patented instead of making them free for everyone to manufacture is evil, right?

I don’t have kids but I still find the random assortment of games a value add as I got a lot of games I would have considered anyway, so this was a much cheaper way of playing those games, best is all the random local multiplayer games that I can install for when I have friends over

Goog, meta, et al are not infallible, they’re good in a lot of places (in technical things, not privacy) but things like this where they take the approach of we can fix it later, they’re not really doing their best.
