I’m excited about this , but when ! My gf is on maternity leave and is about to go back on birth control and pay full price .

Any of those peoples kids with any common sense have been saved by getting far away from all of those people.

It’s just a free trial for new people . Like getting the first month free on a streaming service except it’s for a year . If they like it they will have to start paying eventually. Also if it’s like the ones near where I live anyone can go without paying you will just get a little notice on your car saying you should be to keep the parks funded

This one works perfectly was just a little expensive. I got cheap one the first time and my monitors would turn off and on with my gaming PC .

Now I realize you may have been asking what kvm I’m using . It strapped to the bottom of my desk so you cant see it . Here is the exact one I have TRENDnet 2-Port Dual Monitor DisplayPort KVM Switch with Audio, 2-Port USB 2.0 Hub, 4K UHD Resolutions Up to 3840 x 2160, Connect Two DisplayPort Monitors, Dual Monitor KVM Switch, Black, TK-240DP https://a.co/d/epAHtkR

It’s a device where you can plug in things like monitors, mouse keyboard, etc and then that plugs into both PC’s and you can switch back and forth without having to unplug anything. here is an example of one . 4K@120Hz DisplayPort KVM Switch 2 Computers 2 Monitors DP1.4, KVM Switches Dual Monito 8K@60Hz with 3 USB 3.0 Ports Share Keyboard Mouse Printer (EDID Plug and Play) and Wired Remote, USB3.0 Cable*2 https://a.co/d/h9vJ0Uu

Bit of a mess right now . Amd ryzen 5800x with 6800xt , yr gigs of ram. Running Ubuntu 22 . Also have a ps3 and ps4 set up to the main monitor. A second work computer under my desk with both PC’s hooked up with a KVM so seamlessly switch between work and gaming.

This seems like such a waste of time . How many wood burning ovens are in restaurants in Canada ? I would make such a small difference compared to any large factory in Canada .

Not me ! But not everyone has a PC that can store tons of movies and shows so they don’t have much other choice . There’s one streaming service that I think is only in Canada called crave that charges an extra $10 to watch on anything other than your phone it’s just the worst .

It’s just cable tv all over again. Pay for 8 services to get a handful of shows you want to watch with the other 90% not being touched , now with ads creeping back in too .

I bought sync for Reddit a few years ago but as a one time fee and it wasn’t really to get rid of ads but to support the developer. I wouldn’t pay a monthly fee . I have sync for Lemmy now but don’t pay any fees because there was no one time fee option.

I’m a big fan of my ridge wallet that I heard about through various YouTubers. I actually lost mine on a busy road and it got run over by a bunch of cars and when I relocated thanks to my tile tracker that I also heard about from YouTubers it was still perfectly fine other than some scratches. I swear I’m not sponsored lol .

I will skip through sponsor spots if they are really long but I also have YouTube premium because I want to support the YouTubers that I watch alot without seeing ads . I’m just always surprised by the amount of people that will put a lot of effort into making sure they don’t see any ads of any kind but will also refuse to pay anything .

That’s a bit of a blanket statement. The way people talk about ads and sponsorships makes it sound like you want the people making the videos you are watching to fail and stop making videos. Or do you contribute to the channels you watch another way to ensure they can keep making money ?

Well they know what I downloaded but I dont really care . Is there anything my Canadian ISP can do ?

I feel like that is happening to everyone in Canada . I have to work 2 jobs just to not get evicted . I haven’t been able to get caught up on my bills since last Christmas and now it’s almost Christmas again …

Was just looking into this and all the news sites are acting like big grocery is being so great by putting a price freeze but it’s definitely not out of goodness of their corporate hearts. Price freeze right before things get cheaper .

Makes sense with the cost of food these days . I’m pretty sure I saw that world food prices have gone down while food prices fornme atleast are still going up . Are Canadians being scammed by grocery stores ? How is butter $8 for 450 grams ?

Me too . I never buy from a legal source . I can get 3.5 grams of shatter for $60 from my supplier. Where the legal source sells it for $55 a gram . I also know some one who works for a weed supplier and was told the weed gets left out and turns moldy and then they just blast it with radiation before packaging it.

Housing in all of Canada right now sucks . My ex recently moved to another province and took my son with her. She’s living with her BF’s parents and can’t find anywhere to live so I don’t know how I’m ever going to be able to move closer with the amount I already have to pay towards rent and my car .

What do you mean 99% of Canadians love amongst farmers . The vast majority of Canadians live in the city no where near a farm . I live in NB so definitely not extreme north .

Most of the movies I have pirated I have seen in theaters at some point or can’t be easily watched in my country. I have cancelled most of my streaming services because most of them don’t have content that I watch enough to justify paying monthly for .

If you are trying to login for EI you need to be with CIBC , RBC , Scotia or TD . If you are with a smaller bank no online account for you !
