Any torrent could be a honeypot, why would it only affect private trackers.

yeah i only put 500 as its the MSRP, its actually lower than that. more of the point is, if someones claiming that 500$ is expensive because its a meta product, they weren’t even intending to go into VR, as the HP Reverb, and what it sort of replaced before that, the Samsung Oddessey+, were sub 500 for a long time.

Its less about immedoate profit and more about pumping up gamepass numbers under one umbrella for investors to see a large number increase. Its part of the reason why Xbox Live Gold has been rebranded into Gamepass Core. Microsoft supposedly is under their sub projection (despite having about 40M subs) and trying to pump the numbers as much as possible.

Overwatch makes no sense given its a feee game. Unless your implying gamepass pays for the battlepass, as the game moving to gamepass would be a detriment on console as it does not require gamepass core to play (as its free)

Im of the boat that believes innorder to boost gamepass subscription numbers for shareholders, WoW subs will eventually merge into gamepass

500 would be the price for higher end WMR headsets. Most popular would be the HP Reverb

I think the flags exist, its just not implemented yet as AMD is being pushed to get it out sooner than later due to the long delays. But in a state where it isnt an abysmal feature (e.g DLSS 1.0)

I dont believe fluid frames reuires motion vectors as a hard requirement, else the driver level option where you force a game to use the function would never work (which is a feature).

However so far, fluid frames is only available on DX11 and DX12 titles, so many emulators would not have acess to the option. Switch emulation, and PS3 emulation which would need it the most, dont use directx

Why would the 360 need a hardware exploit if their security would be bad enough for a software one then?

The WiiU had far.backeards compatibility and very low population, but was not immune to exploits.

Officially wii, had built in emulators for old retro consoles and stuff, and unofficially gamecube.

You have to hand it to mocrospft though in the console department, xbox generally dont have software hacks to jailbreak consoles historically (generally hard mods), but nintendo and sonys OS is usually riddled with exploits.

Premium sub probably does but not guaranteed. Iirc, premium subs offer creators $ from google via time watched, vs free users ad impressions.

Its part of the reason why some youtube channels have scheduled Livestreams, as Livestreams make a lot of money off premium subscribers watching.

I went right from finishing Cyberpunk to Starfield and boy did it make Starfield look bad. Like, not just visually (how can a two year old game look THAT much better than Starfield??) but I mean things like the combat and the role playing are just miles better in CP2077.

Creation Engine. Bethesda is tied to the engine in order to make modding easier when creation kit is out. Although creation is terrible for vanilla content, its easily one of the best engines for modders to mess around in. Its also one of the reasons why Bethesda games dont have heavy DRM. As modders will eventually use 3rd party executables for some mods (script extenders) for each of their titles.

Framework 16 pcbs wouldnt be ideal for handhelds.

If somone wants to mid end game on a gaming handheld disregarding price, people have to hope that AMDs Strix Halo (40CU apu, 6700xt for example is a 40 CU gpu) is a real product next year.

Im aware its closer to an action rpg, but it doesnt help that its tied to the final fantasy name.

Its closer to what Secret of Mana is than to traditional Final Fantasy, but chose to name itself in the latter.

It work for paid games, youd have to apply it to microtransaction level if by f2p game, which is the real target for the change.

Its hard to hear it in circles because its a jrpg first (which on its own, is a niche) and only on PS5 at the moment, which not everyone has. Theres about 40m ps5 sold, and less than a tenth has bought the game.

How i see it is al alternative falllout timeline aet in the future. A lot of the basic game mechanics are straight upgrades from Fallout 4, with slightly better faction writing than 4, and slightly more rpg checks to make an experience feels better than 4. IMO i dont think its better than New Vegas, but its a direct upgrade from FO4

The game isnt ending, just adding new content is. Thats like saying that x company stopped updating a game i bought, so i should get a refund on it.

Neither are too new. Both features are technically available for volta gpus or newer. The switch was maxwell, and unless you fully believe the switch 2 will use pascal (2016), then it is at the very minimum, using volta, which means it can use rtx/dlss (but i dont expwct it to ACTUALLY use rtx)

People suspect its a vr headset, or a vr headset adjacent tech like a more portable (reletively) higher powered pc box to be able to use it while carrying it to be able to do pcvr without being tethered to a standing object.

They tutorial the basics of how to fly a ship and loot space items, without informing you that some of its features are locked behind skills (target mode, thrusters for strafing)

Hence, but doesnt handhold you through them.

It has the functions, tells you very little about them because after the intro moments, theres virtually no tutorials.

AMD supports ML, its just a lot of smaller projects are made with CUDA backends, and dont have developers there to switch from CUDA to OpenCL or similar.

Some of the major ML libraries that used to built around CUDA like Tensorflow has already made non CUDA branches, but thats only because tensorflow is open source, ubiquitous in the scene and litterally has google behind it.

ML for more niche uses basically is in the chicken and egg situation. People wont use other gpus for ML because theres no dev working on non CUDA backends. No ones working on non CUDA backends because the devs end up buying Nvidia, which is basically what Nvidia wants.

There are a bunch of followers but a lack in of leaders to move the direction in a more open compute environment.

Starfield has the problem that horizontal progression games like horizontal progression mmos have, which is they have a LOT of things you can do unlocked after a certain point (getting to constellation for the first time) but doesnt handhold you to any of the other features.

People who get sidetracked easily dont have that problem because they like picking and choosing what they want to do. People who need guidance gets lost in the options.

Its not like intel never had gpu drivers (they have had igpus for ever), they just never had to constantly need to update them for the gaming audience.

Lets not pretend features like intels quicksync that came out on sandy bridge igpus to do video encoding didnt reshape how companies did encoding for viewing(which would lead to NVenc or AMD VCE) or scrubbing in the case of professional use.

The gpu driver team had existed for awhile now, its just they never was seveeely pressured to update it specifically for gaming as theybreally didnt have anything remotely game ready till arguably tigerlake’s igpu.

Of course. But with translations, brings mistranslations, especially with tier 3+ languages to learn as a english speaker. The data is subject to the accuracy of the translation, and Chat GPT translation is still pretty far from perfect.

Machine learning is only as good as the dataset it has, and given that english has a HUGE data set on the internet, its okay at it, but it makes sense that for other languages, its likely not ideal.

An example would is art. Look up one using a smaller data set (e.g fully legal ones where all training data had artist permission) vs ones trained on the larger dataset where legality wasnt a concern. Night and day difference

I think the distinction is need. I dont like it when its mandatory, but i dont mind that the option is there. E.g some people like preheaing their oven on the drive home(or a warning that something on the stove is on if accodently left on), or in case of the dryer, when its done.

One common one I think is helpful is those who may have forgotton to close their garage. Easy way to check without having to drive back and do so.

not the guy, but I have mine on a Sata SSD and I don’t think my loading times are the same as his, so I’d expect either slow CPU or on a Hard Drive (going against the minimum requirements that the game should be played on a SSD)

Are you about to bring up skies of all things, and compare to a space game with multiple skies due to having multiple planets?

I mean id argue Skyrim isnt that great to look at either, given its a continent full of tombs and snow due to its climate. Its just gray and white.

Both Morrowwind and Oblivion had more interesting places to look at than skyrim did.

Outside of bugs, the content of CP2077 from launch to the launch of the edge runners anime was minimal…it was functionally the same game still.

People who generally hate didnt play the game.

Side related, you know rebranding failed when a news site uses the old Bandai Namco Logo over the new one.

I mean, a single year upgradable parts is already better than 99% of the market, thats not a hard bar to pass.

Mobilism. Comments work similar to torrent comments on giving me warnings if an apk is bad or its because the user doesnt know how to differentiate against false flags/actually dumb.

Because piracy is often a service problem and not always a price one. If a pirate can offer you a better service, people will pay for it.

If you only see piracy as a price issue, then it would make sense why you dont understand why people do it.

Take for example, pretty shitty android boxes preloaded with various kodi streams. Say if you speak a niche language in the U.S for example, and want media in that language, some people would be willing to pay for a (pretty shitty) android tv box that has warez steams of saidncontent because thr legal methods isnt easy to obtain nor have the technological knowlege to properly pirate.

Crash reports arent the only thing that is a result of a bug. Take for example, the bug involving high idle power consumption is not a crash related bug. The practical way to fix that is to juxtapose settings and conigurations of users receiving the said bug to see of its hardware or software related.

How do you think AMD fixes “bad drivers” that some people complain about.

It doesnt say anything about modern consoles though. Although its dofferent at the start, their modern consoles are still effectively full of exploits. Hell VERY recently, “backup” PS4 titles are running on the PS5. Security is the main reason why BOTH the PS5 and the Nintendo Switch do not have easily accessible web browsers while Microsoft can.

The 360 is IBM power pc based.

The simple answer is that microsoft is a far more advanced company in terms of programming an OS, the gap shows when you compare console securities, where virtually every nintendo or sony device had software vulnerabilities, while microsoft consoles tended to need to be hardmodded
