100% agree, i personally just don’t enjoy that background feeling that i have saying I’m doing this wrong and the stress i feel over having to get certain things done everyday. i already feel enough of that outside of videogames, I’d rather my time spent gaming to be an escape from the norm. Love the game, love the community, heck I play it semi-regularly, it’s just not my cup of tea, that’s all!

I really want to love this game. The artstyle is amazing, the music and sound effects are to die for, it’s truly magnificent. However, the gameplay seems too mechanic for me, like there’s no actual freedom to the game, you need to do these tasks on these days at these times or else you’re playing it wrong.

This is one of the only times you’ll see me defend google.

Generative imagery puts creativity in the hands of many more than are artistically or dexterously gifted enough to communicate artistically. It takes nothing away from the community, and if you prefer not to look at it, its as simple as averting your eyeballs a few degrees.

You’re acting as if making art is an ability you’re born with and you can’t make art if you weren’t gifted with it at birth. The beautiful thing about art is the skill and dedication put into the piece.

newpipe’s been crashing a lot on my phone, my sibling’s phone and my tv recently, libretube hasn’t

Well I’ve used spotify with and without headphones on popular phones, I can’t tell the difference from youtube. I usually download the music directly from the original uploader.

I’m saying if you find it worth it to pay fir premium go ahead, I don’t.

I don’t like paid services, especially when you can get the same or most of the same stuff for free. It’s just not worth it for me, so that is my suggested alternative, doesn’t work for everyone.

personally I don’t find that convinience worth it for the money/ads and other inconveniences, but that varies from person to person

I find it inconvenient to have limited skips and depend on one service to give you the song you want with the version you want. Also spotify ui doesn’t make sense to me, things just don’t work at times. Not to mention the ads.

I haven’t noticed any quality issues and I only listen to mp3s from youtube

download mp3s from youtube. Use rhythmbox on linux and metro on android. Metro even tries to find the lyrics online
