Looks like I’m going to use my work laptop browser a lot less.

I deal with this a lot and it’s funny to see it happen to someone else and respond in a similar way.

You didn’t kill old suit you? Cruel.

Download whenever I feel like it. Share them.

Looks like Obsidian’s sync is $8/mo and is a bit messy to sync otherwise, if sharing between Android and Windows. Not a fan of that at all. Joplin sync just works.

Joplin user here. What does obsidian have that I might want? I remember briefly trying it years ago and disliking it.

If you’ve played it before that’s doable. Someone who has never played it will have a bad time. It’s seriously outdated.

Probably not. Just build a PC.

Could set up pressure sensors for the bed, or only turn on sleep tracking when you’re both ready to sleep.

I wrote an automation specifically for my partner to unlock the front door when they arrive home.

Also we got a sexy time button.

Home Assistant is a path to what many would consider… Unnatural.

I use Phillips Hue bulbs and Kasa outlets. I try to avoid WiFi when I have ZigBee and Z-Wave but the outlets have been flawless for me for years, and on sale their incredibly cheap. Dunno about security.

Using compose makes it a hundred times easier to understand and interact with. Also using Linux.

Plex, Sonarr/Radarr, Ombi, Home Assistant, Komga, Calibre-Web, Valheim. Everything is on a Debian machine I built recently, except HA which is on an O-Droid (I just copied the hardware from HA Blue and ordered the parts from Ameridroid).

How about what I’m not self-hosting? Lemmy. If anyone has an up to date guide on self-hosting a single user instance of lemmy that is actually easy to follow, that would be great. I just want to control my user account.
