British police are gearing up for another night of violence amid concerns that far-right groups plan to target as many as 30 locations around the country following a week of rioting and disorder.
Is there a good reason why journalists keep calling this “far-right disorder” instead of what it really is: Fascist Terrorism?
It’s probably a legal thing, like ‘allegedly’. Until the gov officially declares them terrorists my guess is they water down the language to avoid lawsuits.
It will hopefully help cement for way more people that the right wing is horrid and needs to be stopped. Terrorists and Fascists can be othered by more moderate right wingers, Far-Right is harder as it has Right right in there and hopefully makes them more and more uncomfortable and ashamed until they at least feel like not voting anymore, if not flip to the left entirely
