The studio whose highly-anticipated survival game flopped last year is now asking gamers to fund its next project on Kickstarter.

Seems to me like this studio never actually closed. Either way, this is at least as funny as Ubisoft’s and Sony’s dreadful live-service games flopping hard.

Already 60% of the goal reached, with 28 days to go. 😩

It’s only 30 people that have pledged the $14,670. This almost averages to $500 per backer, which is a lot higher than the global average.

My theory? They are arranging the pledges themselves to make it look like they are desired.

That would be perfectly in line with their past behavior.

One single person pledged S$12000 for the dinner with devs tier

Now refunded it seems. The person probably contributed to say it’s a scam, like some of the other backers in the comments.

We’ve noticed that some backer’s contributions to our Kickstarter may not have the best intentions behind them, and we want to ensure that all support is genuine and positive. With this in mind, we have decided to return the 12k SGD so that the funds can be put to better use by their owner

Ah I should have checked that, yeah. That will bump up the average by quite a bit. Thanks for the logic to my conspiracies, I should have known better
