A nice place to discuss rumors, happenings, innovations, and challenges in the technology sphere. We also welcome discussions on the intersections of technology and society. If it’s technological news or discussion of technology, it probably belongs here.

I was sick, so I could tolerate the presentation which had high-end effects.
A UAV flys through the desert over the Apple building into the center garden, it approaches Tim Cook standing on à lawn. He starts speaking in his mechanical ceo way. A lot more effects like this.
The watch
The phone
MacBook
An impressive presentation. Engineering is amazing. Still, your locked into their walled garden. And they can keep you juiced with dopamine as long as you give them money.
Obviously the solution is to buy two apple Watches so you can have one for while the other is charging, the same way you watch movies on their VR headset.
Has anyone been able to tell if the USB-C ports support USB-PD or not? They mention the wattage but that doesn’t really answer it.
Their ipads and macbooks use usb-pd, and their chargers provide it. Not a guarantee, but a decent sign.
I’m so stoked, been holding off with a aging Pixel 3 for this release since the 14. “one more year,” I said to myself.
I can’t tell if this is sarcastic or not lol
Not even a little. I hate my Pixel 3. And the battery barely lasts half a day now. I just felt bad replacing it earlier than 5 years.
Ah. I hate Apple lol, I couldn’t imaging going from a Pixel to an iPhone. But Android ain’t for everyone I guess.
It and the Galaxy Nexus are the worst phones I’ve ever had by far. Going all the way back to the Treo 600.
