Is anyone else having trouble reading the link (and can someone send me the original URL?). I just get stuck in an infinite captcha loop where I verify I’m not a robot, the page refreshes, and then it asks me again.
I think I read in another post that this occurs if you’re using Cloudflare DNS. I have the same thing happen even if I open the link outside of Lemmy.
Thanks and I do indeed use Cloudflare DNS. Glad to know that it’s not some bad IP reputation thing.
There’s the original https://www.theverge.com/2023/10/30/23938334/western-digital-separating-hard-drive-flash-business
The folks who run the archive website have some weird vendetta against Cloudflare.
It will be interesting to see what sort of branding changes come from this. Will the WD Red blue and black names remain for the consumer parts? Will they change back to SanDisk? Will they go to something completely new like Toshiba did with Kioxia? Will their portable SSDs still break immediately after they get halfway full? Only time will tell.
WD must just have too many cooks.
Only funny on kbin
it takes a lot to make a stew
They sold me a busted drive and ignored me when I tried to get a refund. Would never buy anything from them honestly
