Interesting that the screen has such an aggressive curve, but the scanlines and text box are relatively straight.

Ah yes, the solution is to give a few students in each poorly-funded school district the opportunity to go to a well-funded private school instead of just funding the public schools.

The charter school grift is evolving.

I just wanted to point out that Oral B’s basic electric toothbrushes still range from $45-$80, so it’s not quite as cheap as you say it is. Your point still stands in its entirety. The only thing that makes this product different from the $45 model is the Alexa functionality, and taking that away makes it effectively not the same product.

I’m not really understanding why this portrait looks this way… Is the black blob on the bottom left his bent leg? If it is his bent leg, what’s the tan colored bit at the bottom? Or is the black blob some random giant pouch on his hip, alongside the other more pouch-like object on his hip? Is the bow being held close to his body (arm bent?) or does he have a short left arm?

So many questions…

I remember chilling in the basement and using the PS2 to listen to music. Of course, I gamed on it plenty, but having the music player and DVD player function was pretty convenient too.

Played some Crisis Core FF7 (PSP) during down time on a road trip. I forgot how clunky the game feels, but it’s entertaining enough.

I’d like to see how the remaster compares… According to what I’ve heard, the cutscenes are upscales of the original FMVs, which are both odd and intriguing.

Does that make pixel dungeon an actual roguelike? Never played the original rogue.

I play on PC but was looking for PS5 compatability regardless… I eyed up the UFB-Fusion earlier…

As for the case, I have access to lasercut acrylic on my campus so I will try to design a stacked acrylic body (have experience from making keyboards). Still stuck between implementing arcade buttons with loose wiring or if I should make a “daughter”-board PCB with low profile mechanical switch contacts.

I’ve been looking into building my own leverless for Tekken, but I want to make sure it’s PS5 compatible. What microcontroller did you use for this project? And thank you for the small boost in determination, I needed it.

I really enjoyed Kid Icarus: Uprising on the 3DS, but I never hear anyone talk about it. It’s not an fps, though.

I think they were suggesting that they’re broke…

I was going to say… being a semi-power-user of Windows, I have to find a LOT of very jank solutions to obscure problems.

I’ve only had issues connecting in Helldivers once so far, aside from the quick matching. On the other hand, some of the friends I’ve played with have been having constant problems. Not sure what’s up with that.

Those sweepstakes rewards are pretty sweet though… Capcom hanafuda cards??? Though US is not eligible for it.

Most likely it’s someone who has a VPN that doesn’t support P2P upload or has their config messed up.

I use US-QWERTY but with the pipe/backslash key as backspace, and the key where backspace usually is gets turned into two keys, pipe/backslash and grave (yes, there is a keycode for grave (`) by itself).

I am certainly interested in the 2nd game. Should I play the 1st game before then? I heard mostly good things about DD1.

I didn’t know it was released on Mac at all! I hope you enjoy it if you pick it up. The game gets pretty hard, but if you are willing to learn the boss patterns it’s a ton of fun.

Lies of P is a solid game! It really clicked for me after the 4th main boss. Heavy, slow weapons seems to be more useful in a second playthrough, and I’m finding some NG+ fights easier than the original NG fights.

Aside from that, I’ve been playing M&B Bannerlord with lots of mods. Not an amazing game, per se, but still very nostalgic for me.

I agree with you completely, but that doesn’t exempt the current administration from doing more about it. And I don’t mean that as a both-sideism, I just mean that it’s not unhealthy to criticize and encourage the (less shitty) side you are on to be even less shitty.

BG3 campaign with a friend, and I alao just started Lies of P.

Lies of P is fun, but something about the attack telegraphing feels… off.

Imagine a massive collective of common people that agreed to bombard advertising like this, should the “top grossing queries” list be made publicly available. Giving Google all that money isn’t great, but it would probably be a new issue for companies to argue over, and it would be hard to quickly make it illegal with Google sniffing out potential profits.

I would suggest trying spacedesk. It’s not great, but when it works it even works over USB.

Yeah, unfortunately that would be up to the average person knowing better than to give out passwords.

Maybe the warning could require Apple sign-in to dismiss, but can be hidden at startup? Then make it an industry standard to present the phone when it is powered off.

EDIT: Yes, I know that this is still shitty for most customers.

For anyone still following this thread in confusion, the Limited Edition (LE) card is Intel’s equivalent of a Founder’s Edition card. Intel stopped producing LE cards, but their AIB partners are still producing their own SKUs.

By the time I started playing Forza Horizon 5, I had already completed a vast majority of the content in FH4. Once I started FH5 I found myself doing a lot less missions/races and instead just hopping in a pretty sounding or nicely handling or gorgeous looking car and seeing if I can drift some corner or launch myself off a ramp and land on a piece of road.

It just feels good.

Elden Ring m&k was a million times better of an experience than original Dark Souls on m&k. What a nightmare.

I think I just expect metroidvanias to feel snappy and robust, and Convergence on m&k did not live up to that standard.

As someone who almost always plays mouse and keyboard on PC, I had a few struggles with Convergence feeling like it was made console-first.

I understand why, but it just makes me want to go play Hollow Knight or something.

I don’t really understand the purpose of showing FSR2 vs FXAA/MSAA with still frames… FSR2 struggles most with motion and thin/dense high-contrast areas, none of which are showcased in the screenshots, so of course FSR2 is going to look better.

You know, BG3 is a great experience overall, but I don’t think it’s a great gaming experience. I’ve experienced at least a handful of softlocks that forced me to rewind a decent amount of playtime… and I don’t really think I’m playing in a way that should break the game.

At 1440p my 6750XT is really chugging through power (~210W peak), but temps are staying low. It’s pretty interesting, but I prefer to limit the game to 75fps to save a bit on power.

I don’t understand what you mean. I’m saying that if they print the ink on the cigarette filter and you end up smoking the ink then you are smoking the filter which is effectively smoking fiberglass soaked in tar.

At that point, you don’t give a fuck about safety labels anyways.

You’re way past safety warnings if you’re smoking the entire cigarette and then smoking the butt/filter, where the ink and all the tar buildup is.

Gross to even think about.
