On fmhy there is a mangadex downloader link, I use that python tool. You can add a flag to it that converts it into an ebook format. And if your ebook reader can read it than you are good to go. Might not be what you are looking for tho, you need a pc to use it

I just add “pp” into the URL bar. Between the .com and youtube (youtubepp.com).

Idk if it’s safe or whatever, I get my video, and funny haha pp joke.

I can’t relate to these, but Rust is lacking in some aspects that’s no secret. That’s why it barely has GUIs or object oriented coding. It’s usable for both, but why would you. You don’t have to use rust for what it’s not ment to be used at.

it’s trying it’s best tho, lol. I wonder if in X years, it’ll be like c++, a Frank Einstein of syntax to be usable for everything.

Isn’t that the point? It doesn’t let you write bad code, thus when you did manage to get something compiled it’s close to C speed. Also I kinda like that it tells me ebery lil mistake, it reminds me when I forgot to delete/change something

There are tools online, that can tell you from a screenshot. Can’t help rn tho, do tell me if you found it tho :D

This is very perfectionist. Let me install my doors the way it’s comfortable or pleasing. Where I see a knob I’ll reach. And where I see a “pull” sign I pull, or get contex clues.

There is research for everything, let’s say it’s more comfortable to push and the knob is on the right side for me. I could spend way more time and effort than thia desrves to apeal to that study, “I have great UX”, I’d tell myself. But then I’d show this product on some eastern market where they read in “reverse” and it’ll not be comfortable nor “100% natural” for them. Meaning, I’d fail, my UX’d be horrible for half the planet.

This might be worth for universal things, that are already researched and you don’t need to spend years and a kidney to figure out. Like maybe how are “next”, “cancel” and “back” buttons are next to each other. But I mean… just copy the most recent you used.

I love this anology so much. It’s something everyone can relate to. It’s something so incredibly low and despised that you can’t understand why it exists, but it’s also so very common.

lol, /) kinda does spell A instead of N. But I get it, it’s creative, nice.

this link puts c/piracy’s megalist to shame, it’s also a shame that it’s only movies. I’m guessing from the url that it’s not tho.

edit: oh hell yeah, there’s a homepage! How well is it moderated?

I don’t get what’s supposed to be wrong here, it works on my machine

I would have played no games or learnt adobe software while I was a kid if I haven’t pirated it.

I started playing some of my all time favorite games pirated, because my parents didn’t want to spend money on videogames and I had no credit card as a kid. Now, however, I purchased them all. (alr well, not all I’m still not rich and I didn’t deem all of them worth the money thrown out donated. Like Sims4, I’m glad I tried it, but it costs like (Steam says all DLCs are:) 1234.22 eur, insanity)

Sorry for necroposting, but can I bulk download a custom playlist from soulseek? I understand it as a semi-private torrent tracker, so I’m guessing I’ll have to seed back every single music (even if it’s not forced I still will). That’ll make it even more annoying, all files are stored twice, once sorted and dumped into a filefor playback, and once inside the "torrent"s folder.

Also also do I have to look out for something before jumping head first into soulseek?

I unplugged my lan, thrown my mobile to the other side of the room, opened everything that I needed. And still ended up just walking up & down thinking about random stuff.

I have SpotX and I shutdown normally.

However I do get ads with it, so SpotX either doesn’t work for me or it’s deprecated.

oh, also an OS would be nice. I’m on Arch.

that cat is 100% in control of the situation by the looks of it

Back in the day, when I didn’t know better I did try this. With Norton I believe. I’m not gonna drag this story, it ruined my boot, but for some reason it didn’t steal or encrypt anything (Makes me think if I just fucked up the install instead of it being malicious). After re-installing Windows everything went back to normal, and I managed to get BitDefender & Malwarebytes another way xd. Good ol’ times. 2/3 AV worked

I’m not going to cut throats over banners, chill out. And also it’d seem I wasn’t clear with my points. I understand that AI can still produce art. My point was that if AI is used to make art it’s used the same way as any other tool, but randomly generating pictures is an edge case.

One could argue that this is just natural evolution. Before, when you made a nice picture (let’s say on a canvas) it was one-of-a-kind, and that made it more special, more art-y. But, if you’d have used AI instead, you could have gotten an infinite number pictures all with similar artistic values. However, I’d say that this isn’t true, because afaik sometimes what the machine gives back to you is very bad (by means of not achieving the goals of the artist), and you have to regenerate it. This means that you can’t call “all” AI generated images art even if it was made with care.

Compared to your music example, I agree. But, I believe you haven’t considered the fact that it is still one-of-a-kind. No matter the instrument (because the new electronic sounds are just that basically).

Picture the scenario where somebody (A nobody with no goals, motives, or deep thoughts) just press a couple of buttons and some toon starts playing. “It’s pleasing ig” is the only feeling you get from it. Or get someone, with passion and a dream, to use the same method, but instead of stopping at the first toon, they continue to improve it, to refine it, to redo it as many times as it takes for it to be perfect. Imo I’d consider scenario A’s result and B’s failed attempts to not be art, B’s result however is art.

Well, I wasn’t active before now :p

just wanted to put my two cents out there

While this is very cool, and a nice idea. I have to vote aginst it. AI art is just so uncanny and soulless.

In my opinion it’d be way better to have human-drawn art as the banner. For starters AI generated “art” can’t really even be called art. “Art” implies that it has some meaning, value, message, or a memory even. AI can make art tho, when you mastered it and use it the same as painter uses a brush. I don’t think a daily random gen in compatible with putting care into what you create. If we switch the banner every day with another auto generated picture, it’ll be just that; a cool picture. But if we maybe switch it up every year (for it to not be stale) with an art competition it’ll have love in it at least, with possibilty for all kind of valuables, such as refrences or a unique style.

You could get around this issue with an avatar. A mascot (of the community) if you will. After having the mascot fed to an AI it can generate it in any position doing anything with any background, allowing us to not waste the idea of another commenter (haui), who suggested that it should be dynamic, that it should change depending on what happened the previous day. It could be refreshed daily, it could be made dynamic, and it’ll have soul.

I can’t draw. But I think I speak for others when I say that I wouldn’t mind drawing a character for a community that I can thank thousands of dollars to.

It actually does. All I know about the netherlands is that Amsterdam = good, blame this guy. All his videos are basically the same. He tells you how bad something is (in city design), and tell you how good Amsterdam is. Basically promoting that city, guess he doesn’t talk about DLCs for medical utilities.

I’m sorry bout your situation, but may I ask what country are you talking about? (So that I may never set a foot in it.)

make these 3 comments a large thread on some JellyFin forum and start coding lol.

I openly torrent without a VPN, buy my ISP doesn’t care. It’s a closed tracker, could that be the reason?

it reaches ‘t’ from ‘b’ with a lot less iterations of ‘r’. It seems to me that you have a more optimized version. :)

a funny thing that I’d like to add, is that pirate streaming sites don’t have this limitation. You just open a website, write in a name, and play in on any platform, with good enough quality, free from all streaming services. Piracy is just too good to be true.

bullshit doesn’t end here. There’s a $1k monitor stand, that needs a $200 extension to be vesa compatible, and is no better then some free stands that u get with (dare I say) normal monitors.

Thanks, it makes sense. I just don’t yet see how I’d reduce the number of ifs*, but I guess it’s a case by case thing.

  • simplest I can think of is let’s say we need different logic based on a number’s parity. How do I avoid if x % 2 == 0?

Real quick question about the “break”
I'm studying programming, and I don't agree woth my teacher. She basically said that if we use break (and continue too maybe) our test is an instant fail. She's reasoning is that it makes the code harder to read, and breaks the flow of it or something. (I didn't get her yapping tbh) I can't understand why break would do anything of the sorts. I asked around and noone agreed with the teacher. So I came here. Is there a benefit to not using breaks or continues? And if you think she's wrong, please explain why, briefly even. We do enough down talking on almost all teachers she doesn't need more online.
