And it has been 777 for many years now so “thanks” to inflation the price has only gone down.

Or under 600 per year for 10gb/s with Wingo. Or used to be as they seemed to have jacked up the price and dropped to 1gb/s making Init7’s a better option. Thankfully I’m grandfathered into the old 49/month for 10gb/s for life.

Or in my country: most ads are in only one of the main official languages but not the one in my region so it’s wasteful for them.

What Hamas has done is horrendous and undefendable but there’s no military solution to removing extremism. They’ll just end up killing many more civilians than Hamas has murdered and cementing the next generation of extremists.

Israel will likely be able to crush Hamas as an organization but I doubt anything better will rise from its ashes. I’m certain it was Hamas’ goal to trigger such a reaction and with the escalation triggering a wider conflict.

But it wasn’t always that way. Creators had to survive multiple crises as Youtube made sudden changes that impacted their livelihoods.

Those that survived rely on merch, patronage platforms, paid promotions, and promoting their content on other paid platforms.

Ironic but “Fahrenheit 451” being destroyed from Kindle would have been even more perfectly on the nose.

Awesome, I only wish you could sort by size when viewing MQAs for a movie.

Edit: They’ve added it already, neat!

It wouldn’t be in Google’s interest to kick users out. Kicking apps out? Sure, that’s how YouTube Vanced died.

ReVanced smartly dances around the rules.

NFTs aren’t always a scam… sometimes they are just tax fraud.

Not necessarily true. There were multiple PC desktop speakers with subwoofer. My old Altec Lansing kit had one.

Logitech used to make fancy 2, 2.1, and even 4.1 speaker systems.

Is it piracy? He owns a license for the game.

Are Ubisoft or Rockstart Games pirates for using scene cracks themselves?

Or Ubisoft. A colleague of mine was super hyped for Far Cry 2, both the collector’s edition but it wouldn’t start on his PC. He contacted Ubisoft support and they gave him an actual scene crack. There were other reported cases of Ubisoft support handing out scene cracks to go around their shitty DRM.

“A” for effort for the support people in finding ways for customers to be happy and play the games they paid for. But a Steam release for a humongous corporation just straight up using the crack and releasing it as is, that’s a new low.

I agree with the sentiment but at least they sell wireless headphones with similar reparaibility as their phones.

Especially when there is Firefox and Firefox-based, privacy-focused alternative with great add-blocking and privacy extensions.

The game deserves better than how it launched. Don’t get me wrong, I find it a ton of fun and play a lot but the progression/crafting is a disaster.

Yeah, I enjoy the gameplay and atmosphere a lot but it’s obvious this game was rushed out in a bad state.

They wasted a lot of goodwill with the initial release, I hope with changes like this they do good with the players and then they’ll have a chance to bring in new ones.

They messed up initially with Vermintide 2 and then caught up and did the same thing again with Darktide.

Hopefully they drop the silly christian-friendly metal soundtrack and give us better metal.

Turning that OST off and instead playing Behemoth’s “The Satanist” while blasting mutants was a real blast and fit the seeing better.

A few are the people who think they’ll end up near the top of such distopias. But mostly the ones being manipulated via fear into heading us towards these distopias.

It’s sad people are so afraid of consenting adults loving each other. And it’s worst others flame and wield these fears to gain power and wealth.

There was a ridiculous Canon movie franchise but this is based on an old tactical shooter franchise that is based on the real Navy unit.

I was excited to see the old franchise make a comeback with the “Blackhawk Down” opening until the “recon arrow” bit. Not sure what to think of that.

Didn’t he hire a whole bunch of testing experts and built a “lab”? Hard to see he has all that talent and equipment behind him with results like these.

How can I save time and pay to skip playing the game?

“Leaving money on the table” must be the exec’s perspective.

Depends on what you call the first one. The very first one was a mod for Half-Life 2, then a proper game in itself using the Valve Source engine, and now Sandstorm a Unreal Engine-powered game.

In any case, the gun-play is amazing. You can also switch from arcade to more tactical by playing normal or hardcore servers.

And pics that aren’t easily debunked as birds, normal stuff looking weird in FLIR, insects, or whatever all the random things the last “world-changing” declassified videos ended up being.

This always comes back in cycles. You don’t need programmers, just have analysts write their requirements in English! And that’s how we got COBOL (common business-oriented language) and programmers didn’t disappear.

Then when had other stuff like “low code and no code”. Graphic designers with grant promises of “citizen developer”.

All these have failed to remove programmers entirely. Why? It’s straightforward: defining software requirements in a concise way can’t be done in a better way than in code. Because that’s code, translating the requirements in a language that both a human and a machine can interpret reliably.

AI can do a bunch of things via prompts but how many prompts is it going to take to make a complex piece of software? And who is going to check the code that specifications have been well implemented?

Yeah, I’ll impress a bunch of managers with simple CRUD applications, and prototypes and perhaps save a lot of time in repetitive, boring basic functions but programmers are going to be needed.

Edit: Oh and it is in Nvidia’s interest for companies to invest heavily in AI and buy their hardware so of course their CEO is promising AI will solve all your problems as long as you pay him $$$.
