don’t think it’s possible to run photoshop on linux at all (except ancient versions)

if you’re an audiophile you can get flacs and stuff (but tbh I’d rather store my music in opus, flac just seems like a waste of space)

the only reason I’m still using Privacy Badger is the feature that hides embeeded iframe widgets until a “view” button is clicked (for example, embeeded tweets etc)

it’s for the official Office keyboard.
it comes wirh shortcuts to ms office stuff and was supposed to work without installing any software, so they bound them to an extremely long key combinations no one will trigger by accident and shipped the changes to all windows users.

also another fun fact: Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Win corresponds to the “Office” key, and hitting that combination will make Windows silently and automatically download and install the Microsoft/Office 365 App and launch it, even if it was previously removed

interacting with a pump sounds kinda awkward tho, i totally see why some people would prefer some sort of remote control, e.g. an app

I’d argue floating wms are more intuitive and some can still tile pretty well if you want that

there’s a mod piracy subreddit on reddit, you should probably check it out

my isp doesn’t assign me an ipv4 and i have a dynamic ipv6 prefix, I’m hosting stuff over ipv6 just fine with dynamic prefix (i even have a ipv4 proxy set up, but it doesn’t see much use), just need to update it like every week in dns records (automatically of course)

yah i forgor about that
but technically you can, but with a self signed certificate only (ehich are less secure; or by asking people to set up the dns manually)
with self signed certs you don’t lose encryption, but the client won’t be able to make sure that it’s connecting to your server specifically

except Ukrainian for some reason. I’ve had a lot of issues with english, polish and russian content, but Cloudstream3 with cloudstreak-extensions-uk never ever stopped working and has all of the content i care for, with high quality dubs from either the source or local tv channels (both sound as good as the og English va)

i mean there’s an official android port of it and it’s still being kept up to date, or is there anything wrong with it? (i see it has ads, but it doesn’t really matter if you block them on like dns level)

also i haven’t actually checked, but seemingly it may be bit too modern, don’t think ios 3 is fully supported yet

it also supports android and works really well on there

well, katamari specifically has some rendering issues with text but they’re really minor and don’t affect gameplay.
sucks that most of these use gyro tho, feels really awkward to use (left stick on any controller can be used instead but it’s still not ideal) (unless you’re like sitting on a toilet or sth lol, where you can comfortably hold the phone flat)

fun fact: gab supports federation over activitypub and should probably be blocked by everyone

please don’t, it literally fills half the screen for me

note: this is just a patent
patents usually don’t mean shit, sony (?iirc) has a patent for an ad system that requires users to say the name of the brand to continue, but we’re not seeing it around yet eh?

well gog games can be safely pirated because the executables you’re getting are signed with their digital signature.
it’s much less morally correct tho, especially because most of the games published on gog are indie games, but if you have literally no money to spend (like I used to) there aren’t any better options

especially annoying when your school keeps switching between the two.
I joined a meeting on New Teams once, but by the end of it i got a popup saying that access to new teams has been blocked and you need to switch to classic teams.
the next day, we were forced to migrate to new teams again.
a week ago, access to new teams got blocked again, and i had to redownload teams (classic)

btw what do you think about typst?
i only used it for simple stuff so far but it seems pretty fun and easy to use

does it matter if that license is only needed to download the game? once you have it downloaded, it doesn’t matter if the license gets revoked (it only grants you the ability to download the game, and use galaxy online/social features such as achievements and multiplayer)

iirc the COTL issue was caused by a miscommunication between the dev team, publisher and gog itself
pretty sure it has long been fixed

the framework is actually pretty cool, it uses SDFs to render ui (which is definitely not the most efficient solution but it’s really, really cool (it means they can use the same system to render shapes, text, and literally everything else which can be described by a signed distance formula)

gdb ./fuck
r
where

you should get a complete stack trace (complete with values of some function arguments)

most of my (rust) projects have zero (or maybe 1-2) warnings, unless I’m in the middle of working on a feature

my last dualshock 4 lasted like 3 years before starting to show first signs of drift

tbf i think dualshock 4 controllers die about as fast as joycons. but also joycons cost 70$ while you can get a new dualshock 4 for 25

kinda hate how they don’t provide dns with dnssec but no malware blocking (i prefer my dns to always just resolve stuff regardless if it’s “malware” or not)
also their default dns does has ECS disabled (they have an alternative one tho)

zerotier is open source and free with up to 25 nodes per network, and supports custom ip assignments (in custom ranges, with option to have multiple subnets per network), custom dhcp, managed dns, and custom, multiple managed routes (with option to point to a custom gateway), and traffic flow rules.

for example here are the rules i have set up for my “gaming” network that i use to play LAN games with my friends (only allows ipv4, arp and ipv6 traffic and prevents clients from self-assigning ip addresses)

route settings page:
my “personal” network (which just links all of my personal devices together) exists in 172.16.0.0/24 and auto-assigns ipv4 addresses in 172.16.0.101-172.16.0.199 range using dhcp (but i have configured custom ip addresses for each device anyway), and ipv6 is auto-assigned using RFC4196.

huh i thought zerotier is more popular.
i love it but their android app sucks. hasn’t received a single large update since android 5 and constantly keeps disconnecting

btw why did you choose tailscale over zerotier

they ignore all requets.
i have a couple of pp.ua domains, and there’s no limit on them (you cant register more than 3 per month)
but unfortumately one of the requirements is that you can’t hide phone number and address from WHOIS records and you must provide them your phone number
