Amazon doesn’t want anyone to think the drivers work for it.

I hope we get a more left leaning president in America. Amazon needs a union and I simply can’t see Sleepy Joe transforming into Dark Brandon with a second term.

2nd term President Biden might morph into a Dianne Frankenstein by the end of it.

I insist Amazon doesn‘t really work for striking delivery drivers.

To give an insight how it looks outside of the US/in Europe:

Amazon does not (or cannot) tell the contractors what the drivers should wear or how the vehicles look. Usually it’s a plain white van, sometimes even a rental company logo on its side. The drivers just wear whatever they found in their closet.

So it’s way more visual that they are working for a contractor logistics company and not employed by Amazon.

“They don’t really work for Amazon because we just fired them!”

(i know that’s not what the article says, but that was just my first thought)
