Something that incorporates all the “Arr” softwares into one, with a proper setup process to begin with, and lots of customizations for the more advanced users
A sorta… “package” deal.
managing them all individually is annoying and i keep hearing about new “arr” softwares… its annoying and tedious…
of course, also with web interface, so it can be done remotely
The first line in the megathread is silly
Instead of installing firefox and setting up… Just install Librewolf. A firefox fork with UO built in, and all the privacy settings activated by default. Even the hidden ones.
And yes is still supports FF sync etc.
By default it clears cache etc when you close it. It can be annoying for some users.
He has a script for activating windows. Super easy.
Qbittorrent:
In the menu theres a search engine you can activate
It requires python but it will more or less auto install it all for you.
Go to the new tab and in the bottom theres a link to a page where you can download plugins for the search function (or maybe you need to just search first? Its been a while… lol)
Download the ones you want. (I just downloaded them all), and throw them into a folder (its all .py files)
Tell the search plugin to install the plugins from that folder. It can inatall them all at once. Just press OK to the ones that might be outdated.
Search for something. Sort/filter as needed, and download.
You can basically download most torrents without opening a browser.
Alternatively the megathread is decent
My first (fast) internet connection was 1 Mbit.
We had 1gb to download per month. This cap disappeared when more competitors showed up though (i had that cap around … 2001)
I havnt seen a data cap for internet connections since. I am not aware of any either. Except for mobile phones. Though, they also have unlimited data for those , if you want. (I have. Just so i never have to worry about it ever again)
Its pretty outdated these days
